I have to say I'm shocked this wasn't already a right. I just assumed only US was so backwards.

German gay couples where already allowed to bond in a "civil union" with all rights included, except adoption. Years long debate over a name

Equal rights is equal rights. Not conditional. We struggle with this in America. Idk why.

Equal rights certainly do mean equal rights, sure. But you can't tell me that a full-rights union and a second-class union is the same thing

I totally agree. You can't have second class status and call it equal. Sorry if I was not clear.

You're not wrong on equality. It's just that not every unequal status was created equal, if you will. Civil unions but no adoption right etc

Left abd libtards are destroying the meaning of marriage, meant to be between men and women. Homos hijacked marriage, this is disgusting!

The marriage of two people of the same sex will have zero impact on your life. Time to climb out of your tree and see how we're living now

It will have an impact on my life becuase now marriage is associated with homosexuality. They are hijacking the meaning of marriage.

It's the extension of legal recognition and protections afforded under the law. Your marriage isn't diminished by it

They can have a civil union or create their own form of "marriage" and yes mine will be affected by it by association. It's disgusting.

Only you can make the decision to let your marriage be diminished by the extension of marriage equality. You must have little faith
