Maybe the Headline should read "Venus Williams hit by car running a red light. Elderly driver of that car dies."
-
-
-
False on both counts. The other driver had the green light, and the man who died was a passenger.
-
You are correct but she was held up by the traffic in front of her. The other vehicle failed to stop and ran into her.
-
1) the other vehicle had a green & therefore the right of way, and 2) you don't enter an intersection if traffic prevents you from crossing.
-
If the traffic in front of you slows, was stated in other articles, you do. Right of way doesn't mean you get to hit someone.
-
she said she didn't see Venus' car when it pulled out in front of her. And no, you don't go unless you know you can make it through.
