And you write this story because Trump dropped out of Paris Accord and caused the weather in Arizona to be hot in summer?? More fake news

🌵🌞 isn't it always extremely hot in Phoenix in June July & August? It's called summer in the desert 🌵

This is pure BS. I was grounded on a flight in Las Vegas 20 years ago because it was too hot to take off #fakenews

Las Vegas is in a desert so rather expected, no? Elsewhere not so much

The recent flights that couldn't take off bc it was too hot were in Arizona. A desert. It hasn't happened elsewhere as you say

Did you read the piece? It's not just in NYT every paper in AZ reported this. Lots of things can't operate in extreme heat, Phones, PC's.pic.twitter.com/6E4MwkyP7P

Hot air is thin which can cause issues with flying, but to say climate change is reason for hot air higher up in the atmosphere is not true

But bulk of the article is about extreme heat effecting take off & landing. Little about "higher up air". Seems to be a problem everywhere.pic.twitter.com/cIoJmZcY5R

Climate change is not the culprit. The climate is only getting warmer by less the 2 degrees Celsius which isn't the cause of high temps
