        Similar in UK - we are told they are needed to look after elderly - but in turn they too will need care etc - it's a Ponzi scheme.

        The article is talking about which areas of the country resemble the demographics of the future. It said nothing about population.

        No, it means the dark areas will see the strongest growth in minority populations. It doesn't mean lighter areas are shrinking.
