I don't understand how anyone could acquit this police officer. That is a terrifying video.

Did he have CCW? If he did he had to tell the cop about the gun. He was following the law and it cost him his life.

How could any human being on a jury not be compelled to convict this so-called police officer?
-
maybe they are also white?hmmm
-
Two of them were black, and they didn't convict either.

I would like to know who are jurors that saw this video & still didn't see anything criminally wrong with actions of officer?!??!!! Sad!!

How do jurors watch this and let the cop go? Seriously anyone?!

-
No reasonable doubt. Cannot clearly disprove cop's statement that he was reaching for weapon. Why body cams should be mandated.
-
IF he was reaching, cop could have just as easily turned and ran. No need to draw and open fire.
-
Have you ever tried to outrun a bullet? C'mon. This is silly.
-
The guy was seated and buckled in his car, hadn't drawn a weapon. There was another LEO present. We're not talking about outrunning bullets.
-
The claim is that he was in the act of drawing weapon. There is no evidence either for or against. Can't convict solely on word vs. word.
-
And I'm saying that given the evidence provided, EVEN IF HE WAS drawing a weapon, that cop had options beyond the one he chose to enact.
-
In a shoot or be shot situation, a vast majority would choose to shoot. Whether he was in that situation is a different question, of course.

Are you gonna educate us on why it's ok to shoot someone who made no threats and even tried to make sure officers knew he was armed?
