It's flabbergasting. This proves that cops have the right to shoot whoever they want to + can blame on being scared + get off.

Cop still works for the state. Same state that protects bad police. This isn't about white cops vs minority..it's about BAD cop vs POC

The state that COP WORKS FOR & WITH. Correct? Conflict of Interest. System is flawed. Fix it or things will get worse for EVERYONE.

The system worked. The State charged cop for killing POC, the State sought prison for cop, jury of peers in blue state found not guilty.

How does it work when both the COP & DAs work for the same state? CONFLICT! He was guilty of some sort of homicide. Negligent at least.

The DA fought hard to send him to prison. They believe he was guilty. That's not a conflict. Blame the jurors.

These cops and DAs are essentially colleagues. That IS A CONFLICT. Can't guarantee fair charges, jury selection & trial in that scenario.

Another "I feared for my life." It isn't wrong to fear for your life. Just choose a profession where your life is never in danger.
