It's not a choice, nor a lifestyle, nor a problem. Catholic Church must be open to everyone, open arms, open heart.

It have to be with total respect, tolerance and the conviction that 'love is love' and it's perfectly fine.

Statement presumes the 'sin" to be sexual orientation and equate w/ "lifestyle" sin like adultery. Can't see how that is uplifting to LGBTQ.

But for me the way to approach them musn't be "you are a sinner but it's ok", not with paternalism, not with compassion.

So, basically, being an LGBT member IS a sin, according to him. How about accepting that it's not?

That implies that just being an LGBT member (I'm not) makes you a sinner. Not surprising coming from a religious person but still ridiculous

The difference between homosexual & other sinner at the alter is gays aren't looking to repent of their sins, but to be made acceptable.
