We asked truckers what they would say to other drivers if they got the chance. They had lots to say. http://nyti.ms/2qUylXG pic.twitter.com/hEfExYTXCr

I always follow trucks going slow in the snow, safer than being in the lanes where people don't know how to drive in the weather.

Truckers are angels on the road. Many watch for runaways, sex traffickers & homeless vets. My dads fed many a hungry teens on the road.

I just hate truckers who take 5 mins to pass other truckers on a clear day. Other than that, keep up the good work.

It's hard to pull ahead when you are carrying 80,000lbs. Also, many trucks are governed down so they top out at a maximum speed. Patience!

Patience is a two way street. Why not let less faster cars pass you first, before you block off the road? How much time will it save you?

I dunno. I guess each pass is unique. I live where I get stuck behind tractors so it's no biggie to be behind trucks going regular speed.

Sure, but pay your own way. Why should I have to maintenance for roads that truckers cause?

Great article. It's the same here in Australia. Neil Mavin, the look on kids faces when you do blast the air horn. That's the best part. 👍👍
