So, covering planet with black solar panel that is absorb rather than reflect heat from sun, that is supposed to reduce warming?! #Insane

The thermal energy is absorbed, but then is converted into electrical energy. Think before you speak.
-
Plus, what heat IS released into the atmosphere is less than that caused by traditional power plants.
-
And solar panels reflect about 30% of light, which is close to the average of what the earth itself reflects.

Was 10 years for Uruguay to go renewables nearly all the way. More than 95 percent of Uruguay's power comes from renewables now.

Nicaragua didn't sign the Paris accords because they thought it wasn't strict enough. Most of their energy is green already.

Financially the Paris Agreement is a very bad deal for America. It doesn't mean the US isn't interested in being greener

Exactly why trump has totally decimated the EPA. Rolled back a decade of progress. Reintroduced poisons into the soil. Bring on the coal!

Thank you India for help saving the planet
-
No need to thank them. They ain't doing it to save the planet. They're doing it because it makes economic and political sense.
-
No there is the health issues that come along with coal fired , they actually stated 6 yrs ago about that issue
-
Yeah, i included that in 'political'. Damn you, 140 characters.
-
As in, up until recently it was a health/political matter. As of now, renewables are also cheaper, which is the really strong driver.
