TX doesn't drag it out. It's crime, arrest, trial, quick appeal, & good bye in abt 10 yrs. It makes them grasp actions = consequences!

To my knowledge there's no evidence that the death penalty has any impact on crime, and also wrongful convictions happen.

Ted Bundy specifically went to Fla after escape bcuz he knew they would execute him. He stated he knew he would never stop on his own!

Outliers are also a thing that happen. A single case, or perhaps a handful, don't really disprove it. The data shows it doesn't deter crime.

Data shows they don't kill again! & it's less expensive 2 execute than 2 house for LWOP. We keep building more prisons when we need schools.

You've got some strange data there, everything I've read has stated that execution is more expensive than incarceration for life.

And if they're kept locked up for life, then they won't kill again either (barring escape, but that's rare).

So sad. How does a just and moral government ever justify assuming the risk that they're executing an innocent person.
