Long overdue. Zoos and circuses alike are prisons.

At least zoos provide education to the masses. They've also been known to help endangered animals procreate. Circuses can go to hell.

I think that's a decent point about endangered species. However can't remember the last time I saw a happy zoo animal. SPZ is a sad place.

Yeah, I'm sure it was very sad for the elephants. Being trafficked across the country and forced to perform on demand must be great for them

Cutting remark, dude. Glad you're sticking up for the people keeping endangered species in boxcar trucks. Good on you!

showing your ignorance. They don't 'live' in boxcar trucks. They also get inspected by federal, state and local vets and AC at every stop.

Endangered species held in closely confined, non-natural enviro forced to perform tricks for profit. You're really gonna advocate for that?

Hint!Same way good dog training works.FIRST! KNOW something about the animal, know what it likes, doesn't like + what it can do,

If one doesn't understand animals, they speak through ignorance. Circuses will live on after Feld closes down.

I'm glad circuses will live on - circuses that don't abuse animals for entertainment. BTW, I grew up on a farm. I know and love animals.

I trust those animals will be retired to a very nice sanctuary and will never have to perform again.

Ultimately the circus stopped making money. If animal abuse caused empty seats, the circus failed to adjust their concept for the market.
