lol what an idiot. That wasn't MMA, it was just charging at a guy and punching him in the face. How is that any kind of martial art?

I've seen enough to know bum-rushing a guy with head punches is about as refined of a fighting style as a drunken hobo

Who cares about refinement? Efficiency is more desireable in professional fighting. That's why Xu challenged the Tai Chi master

If you're just going to punch someone in the head it's just boxing, not MMA. Anyone can tackle a guy and punch them in the head.

It's that simple huh? Maybe you should join up UFC and show 'em all how it's done

Yes it's very simple to charge at someone and punch their head. It's not really a fancy technique or skill. Which is why he's just a brawler

Did you even read the article? The point is just SOARING over your head. Xu whooped a self proclaimed master of martial art combat easily

MMA isn't "no holds barred". The major MMA code, UFC, has an extensive rule set. Also many top MMA fighters are Judo fighters.

It's fine to be a Master at one discipline, but it won't save you in a MMA fight. You would need to fight with the rules of your expertise.
