She cancelled because 1. Berkeley offered a time when it was less likely there'd be unrest (which she wants) 2. Bc her sponsors pulled out

Bottom line it was about $. That's her brand. No protests/no $, not worth it. Pretty sick she has sponsors so can run around spewing hated.
-
All true, but now she's got an issue to cry over and write a book about. Sad.
-
Precisely. It's a win/win. She and her supporters have played out this script before. It's all theater.

Sad day for Free Speech?? I say it's a great day because America doesn't have to listen to you spew venom.

I understand how it works. Doesn't mean I have to like a racist, bigot and her hate filled speech. Glad you enjoy that stuff, however.

Not as much a sad day for free speech as it is for Ann Coulter's desire for self-promotion. Free speech will survive.

I totally agree Nancy.

As much as she has the right 2 free speech the students who pay 2 attend Berkeley have the right 2 protest her. SHE backed out-that's on her

She canceled. You are free to speak your mind in this country, but people are free to respond. All the 2nd protects from is gov't silencing.

Coulter cancelled. Says nothing of free speech. She lost her nerve.

Or saw an opportunity to draw a far larger crowd by playing the victim.
