NONE. They sit long enough in school. Maybe if we let the teachers teach rather than test, the kids could get it done in school.

I say no homework for elementary school kids...research just doesn't support it!

Back in "the day" we did not have homework in elementary school. Projects occasionally, but no nightly homework. We turned out just fine.

research shows that homework has no impact on academic performance for this age group so hopefully those days will return!

None. They need time to play, learn social skills, & to choose extracurriculars in sports, art, music or whatever else their heart desires.

Teachers want us (parents) to do their job, also, they should have fun in free time, that way they'll be more concentrated at school.

Homework is useful for teaching kids to be responsible on their own time.

Homework reinforces learning in school. If school has nothing to teach academically, then what use is homework?

I think young children, grades K-3, don't need any homework, except a quick run down of math facts, or reading a book. Best to be outside!😍
