        Plenty of unemployed tech workers here. H1B was supposed to address 1% of skills. Not for things like systems administration.

        And even if H1B is terminated, companies will start doing GCs instead which is worse because immigrants won't leave.

        Much longer process. Even H1Bs working here for years can't get GC. Three are also country quotas and Indian GCs are too many already!

        Some companies will sponsor H1B but will never do a GC or only do GCs for certain employees

        Most firms don't, only for exceptional employees. The ones that should have been allowed with H1B in the first place. The others use lawyers
