But... it's X-Men... It's always been political.

These political messages were actually antisemetic. So not really the usual.
-
Hmm, yes.

It's XMen. It's been political since it was created.
-
Read the article.
-
K. That's done. XMen has been political since it started.
-
The artist wasn't being political he was hiding antisemetic messages in his art. It's Muslim extremism not politics.
-
That's fine - but it doesn't change the reality that XMen has been political - outspokenly so - since it was created.
-
The NTY title & content, and the specific problem are only with that one instance. There's no general prohibition or claim of one.

why are you reposting this story from 6 days ago without additional updates?
-
I didn't see it before this. Glad they repeated b/c this story means something to me and I might have missed it.
-
Fair enough, but there have been updates to the story since it originally broke. The NYT should have added that in reposting.
-
Thank you. Tired of NYT trying to get paid subscription out if me to read a few articles. I've stopped trying.

I'm tired of being PC w/a group that can't make up their mind on how to define themselves, i.e., one day it's LGBT then LGBTQ? Then what?
-
First, if you read the article you know the controversy isn't that panel about being PC its references to Indonesia politics....
-
Second, are you being saracastic? Because respecting people different than you is not difficult.
-
*Chapeau* Well done, way to go Allison!
