Thieves don't get the death penalty, and neither do trespassers. Why should citizens get to hand out more brutal justice than our courts?

No, he executed someone for being in his house, your house should be your castle.

Executions are against the law. The state reserves the right to execute after fair trial. Actually wasn't his home just other property.
