I don't care how anybody identifies themself as a man or woman it doesn't matter. We've come way too far to let that bother us.

Transgender not a disorder. Crack a medical journal published in past decade or so. If reading isn't one of ur skills, ask a friend 2 help.

Gender dysphoria & gender non-conformity are not the same thing. Dysphoria happens cuz they have to live in a world w ignorants like u.

Being trans isn't a behavioral disorder. No 1 is celebrating the depression&stress these kids feel caused by bizarre conservative judgment.

There is a list of criteria...and a med professional needs to determine you meet at least two of those criteria.

Should that have rights—yes. But <1% of the population trying to dictate what the other 99% should think, accept, etc. Sorry, but no. #GID

You wouldn't let 8yr old cross street alone but you let him make life changing decisions w/ consequences he can't possibly comprehend?

Hi! Like any physical/mental condition, there are professional, medical procedures for diagnosis. It's not 'letting an 8yo make decisions.'

Research shows most kids outgrow gender dysphoria. Making irreversible changes before they can even comprehend what's happening is criminal

The article clearly states physical decisions are "years away" and all that's changed for the child are “wardrobe and pronouns.”

I can't actually read article, but indulging the boy's fantasy about his true biological nature can only do irreparable harm. 1/

You wouldn't dream of indulging a teen with body dysmorphia, but somehow gender dysmorphia is excused as a variant of normal. 2/

Like your example, this dysphoria is qualifiable, treatable. But it's a different condition, so treatment is different. 2
