It was about airline employees and families traveling on passes . A dress code exists for this privilege. As it should.

What makes me angry is that the focus is usually or always around women and their attire.

If I had a free ticket to fly, I could follow a basic dress code so as not to embarrass the airline.
-
But unless it is brought to someone's attention, how would anyone other than the power hungry gate agent know?
-
Know what? The status is referred to on the ticket? Or do you think the dress code just should not matter to the gate agent?
-
Other passengers Knowing that the traveler is "representing" the airline and is a pass rider.
-
Maybe flight attendants can just wear dirty sweatshirts and ripped jeans- is that what you're saying?

3/27/17 I Tweeted: I once got the last First Class seat because the person ahead of me was wearing sandals. Yes, please do wear leggings.
-
That was probably me! Been denied for that.... and other infractions! My bad!

Your bad, my good. Thank you.

United must think that people want to fly with them so bad that they will conform must have no competition let free market decide
-
You're right... I'm sure airlines are killing each other to give free pass travels to employees/families of competing airlines. *Eyeroll*

A negative PR situation influences consumer decision-making eye roll thus the capitalization on it by Puma eye brow lift
-
I'm not talking about consumers.

there is a dress code in place for that privilege & if you disregard it or think you're above rules then consequences should be faced.

Public should boycott airlines who dictate apparell policy like this. Stand up for our rights. Not PC BS. Hit their profits. Restore freedom
-
ALL airlines have this policy. Greyhound doesn't, try them. Since you don't nonrev why is this your fight?
