The headline and story do not say all Indonesians eat dogs. They say that dog meat consumption is growing here, which it is.

Many food animals can be pets. Fish, chickens, cows, etc. Is it so far fetched that dogs could be both?

YES! FAR FETCHED! Dogs are man's best friend! If we eat dogs, we must be able to eat humans. Simple!

You didn't answer my question. What do you feed your dogs? Or are you conceding that I'm right? If so, that's OK.

The people in the article are not eating humans. I wouldn't expect you to feed your dog dog meat. What do they eat?

your logic is weak. My point was dogs, are pets, therefore part of human society. Dogs also work for humans!

Cattle work for humans. Chickens provide us eggs. Grass Carp can clean out a pond for humans. You have no problems eating them. Why?
