Radical Domestic Terrorism. Not from Mexico, not on banned list, not Muslim, not brown-skinned.

White terrorism - is anyone doing anything about it? Hate-what an infection!
-
This white, prejudicial terrorism. Let's call it whatever it is. Hate is hate - It's comes in all colors.
-
But this administration has taken white supremacists off the terrorist threat list? Ohh kaaay?!
-
Yeah, it's about as terrifying as the kkk parades celebrating the death of humanity

Until authorities make a causal link btw military service & criminal behavior, saying the susp is a vet is offensive
-
why exactly?
-
it perpetuates a fallacy that military veterans are at best 'damaged' and at worst 'criminal'
-
ah, was not my interpretation but okay
-
If there is some link btw military service & the action, then I'm ok with the vet ID. No indication here, tho
-
A better term would have been "terrorist" or "white supremacist."
@mrglenn@BenCollinsJokes@jaketapper -
A better term is a vry mental sick person from a young age.
-
White supremacy is not a mental illness.

you couldn't come up with a better headline??
-
A "white veteran", you mean WHITE SUPREMACIST. He's a veteran but the black man "homeless". This is dehumanization.https://twitter.com/nytimes/status/844682114901721088 …
-
A white man from Maryland got into his car to come to New York and murder Black men. But the media is busy humanizing him. He's a terrorist.
-
The juxtaposition & framing is what bothers me. Very often we don't see the media pointing occupation when it comes to non-white attackers.
-
All I'm saying is that alternatives exist. The fact that they went with a soft headline is itself suspect. Imagine if it wasn't a white man.

@nytimes Homeless man? How about: man who wanted to visit LA, loved US & voting, tweeted for autism, & was murdered in cold blood. -
.
@nytimes readers visit@timrock715 profile to get a sense of this man, who was murdered by an awful, emboldened, white terrorist.
