Some jail time is definitely warranted! Not enough penalties for poor decisions... That's why they continue.

If you look at crime statistics, both now and historically, punishment is not a deterrent and never has been.

Gets old fast when thousands keep "experimenting" with drugs. Then they're shocked when they become addicted. Stupid!!

Not saying it's not an issue, I just don't think prison is the way to solve it. Addiction is absolutely very serious!

And it costs the US taxpayers approx. $200 BILL a year. Be great to put that money into breast cancer research, not stupidity.
