I'd read that the "Irish Need Not Apply" signs may have been a popular myth tho widespread discrimination was clearly the case.

Actually, there are many newspaper photos in New England showing the signs in the windows of shops and factories.

By 1960s US had Irish Catholic President while people killed trying to get black voter rights. Big difference. 3/

History does in fact show Irish were Slaves in addition to Indebted servants. Maurice Lenihan 1866 History of Limerick pg 668 669

Slavery? It was only involuntary servitude, gah! They're like a whole word apart in the 13th amendment.

Slavery is not something to brag about or one-up-manship. Blacks were treated horribly (to some degree still are), Irish Slaves too

At some point anyone who was not one of the chosen few was treated as less than human and it happened in almost every nation.

They most certainly were taken- study the Barbary slavers. Many millions of Europeans were taken slave. This really is a new low.

So we ask ourselves 'ok so why aren't there many white ppl in Arabia, as there are the descendants of African slaves in America?' -

The answer is simple. Almost all male slaves taken by the muslim slavers were castrated. Trying to hide that history is despicable.
