        This is absurd. Number one you are killing people so why do you care how expired the drugs are and two: they're easy to synthesize.

        there was an execution a while back where the drug didn't work effectively and it was a painful and long death.

        The US is stupid. We haven't updated our execution methods in decades. There are better ways to do it if you have to.
