Except perhaps in self defense how can a rush to kill ever be wise or moral?

This is absurd. Number one you are killing people so why do you care how expired the drugs are and two: they're easy to synthesize.
-
there was an execution a while back where the drug didn't work effectively and it was a painful and long death.
-
They're afraid of potassium chloride expiring. That's like to table salt expiring. They fail chem for 7x70 generations.
-
didn't know - just assumed that maybe they didn't want a repeat. SA has no death penalty
-
The US is stupid. We haven't updated our execution methods in decades. There are better ways to do it if you have to.
-
a contentious issue. SA murder rate so high knee jerk reaction is to introduce penalty-but when u see headline u rethink
-
If the legal system was infallible I'd support the death penalty, but right now it's just an ostentation. Too risky
-
What about in cases with DNA evidence or video evidence? I've always struggled with this one.
