So its patriotic when Rs obstruct Obama for 8 years and refuse Garland's hearing, but when Ds do it, then its an abomination. Kay.
-
did the republicans set home and suck their thumbs or did they show up? If they don't show up they should shut up.
-
They sure did, denying Merrick Garland a vote for months on end. So its kosher when THEY shut it all down, but not Dems?
-
did they show up or did they sit in their safe space?
-
No difference between not showing and refusing to have a vote. Your bias is showing.
-
I don't think the republicans were right to block a vote. But they showed up, Dems aren't even doing that
-
Except when the Republicans blocked the SCOTUS vote did Dems try to change the rules or play dirty?
-
Dems had already changed the rules then lost. Dems couldn't bring a vote because they were the minority

unlawful!!! Not only do we have an illegitimate President but you want to have an illegitimate cabinet. Worst Presidency ever.
-
complain to the democrats, they are the ones refusing to show up and do their jobs
-
Ha! Seriously? Isn't what the Republicans did for 8 years? Falls a little flat my friend!!! Invalid vote 4 invalid Prez
-
say what you want about their tactics but at least they showed up. Staying home & sucking their thumbs isn't a winner

It appears Republicans have decided that a representative democracy is not worth the effort & instead flirt with authoritarianism.
-
if Dems want to be part of a representative democracy then they need to show up and represent
-
Normally I'd agree, but GOP is in lock step and not willing to meet Dems even partway. 8 yrs of GOP obstructionism set this table.
-
it's partisan politics for sure but definitely not one-sided. This election was rejection of Obama politics. Now it's Reps turn 1/
-
I'm more of a centrist and I'm alarmed by the extreme left takeover of the Democratic Party
-
I too tend to be a centrist, and reject extremes from both sides, but the right's power grab at local, state, and fed is scary.
