I'm always amazed the answer is "raise minimum wage" instead of apply for a hire paying job? 🤔👊🏻

Easy! By charging the customer $25 for each scoop of ice cream!

No. Sorry. Doesn't work that way. You're confusing price gauges with a company's ability to pay people a decent wage.

Sorry, but it does & always has worked that way! Minimum wage goes up, prices go up! ALWAYS!

Explain how consumer prices have gone up 3500% since 2006 and the minimum wage hasn't gone up hardly at all since then? I'll wait.

        They haven't gone up 3500%. Its 800% - 1200% since 1975.

Yeah. So why do you think prices will skyrocket if we raise the minimum wage? Isn't that the central tenet to your argument?

      8. John Boy‏ @GovCorrupted 17 Jan 2017

Because it raises the cost 4 the small business. That cost must get passed to the consumer to keep the bus. profitable

Again, that's even correct. Raising wages has no impact on the business itself. Prices and costs are attributed to consumer demand & supply.
