First question: what are the wait times in pvt sector medicine? May find #VA shorter in many areas.
-
-
-
no one private sector does not use wait times as a measure, so no one really knows.
-
That's the point.
-
it's also a major point that is never mentioned. Plus, the private sector isn't familiar with specific veteran health issues.
-
True. Privatization of
#VeteransHealthCare not a given to provide faster access or better care . -
I don't see how it could get any worse. Wait times and quality of care are terrible here in Colorado
-
1) May be local issues with patient loads/lack of providers etc. Should not throw "baby out with bathwater"

Need to change military retirement, delay full pension and FREE medical until retirement age, unless disabled/unable to work.
-
HAVE you ever served, or loaded a body in an aircraft to be shipped off to a love one..just hush

8% of annual US budget goes to military retirees, receiving a retirement pension at 37 while still working is BS!
-
you do 20 yrs ,that's the agreement. I messed up my spine I cant work, try living off less than 20k fighting for the USA
-
Medical discharge (%?) receive a % of retirement. Work at a desk or drive a truck for 20 years, then not until 62
-
you're not comparing driving a truck or sitting at a desk for20 years the same you were serving your country for 20 years
-
Bottom line! No medical discharge, no early entitlement pension. This is tax money waste!
