Good. It's immoral, costs way too much taxpayer $$, and is ineffective in preventing crime.

how does putting down a murderer not preventing crime?
-
Death penalty was supposed to be a deterrent, meaning it would "scare" others from committing murder. Doesn't work.

Many studies have disproven the utility of death penalty. It's archaic. Iran, Saudi Arabia, No. Korea.

In Texas, we put in an express lane.

there should never be an "express lane" to death; but interminable challenges lasting 10+ years ... those truly suck

@wokkax3 they must have skipped Texas. I think we need to put in an express lane, skip all those appeals get down to buisness. -
I live in Texas but I gotta disagree with you there, pardner

It is not a deterrent, more expensive than life in jail, and innocent people die
-
they are dead it stops
-
So doesn't life in prison. However, is saves resources and innocent people don't die. It also does not deter crime
