@MiketheScribe@nytimes Evidence is supposed to be the GMO fan's best friend. Don't ignore because it isn't what you like. -
It's clear to me that no amount of evidence will convince some folk that
#GMOs are safe. It's a belief system, immune to evidence. -
when you say "safe" do you refer to injestion, the chemicals used, and/or the freedom aspects?
-
All three.
-
What is it about GMO that improves a farmer's freedoms if a corp owns their seed?
-
it's an educated choice we make as farmers to purchase/adhere to the terms and conditions.
-
As I mentioned, it doesn't appear that straightforward. Industrial ag is developing that way.

@RebelCapitalist Every ag professional understands nature is adaptive It's always been understood GMOs are just a sales gambit -
So all those farmers are just being duped?
-
Anyone who believes that any of these 'fixes' are anything more than temporary is getting duped
-
Who ever said these were "fixes"? Modern Ag is anything but simple. Lots of innovation in sector.

Monsanto and their accolades in the press and government
-
Resorting to "Monsanto" is the biggest cop-out around. Time to grow up.
@yourpalHarvey@nytimes@RebelCapitalist -
Insulting me for trying to cut through the hype? Sorry. That doesn't help anybody but...MONSANTO
-
I wasn't trying to insult you. Just pointing out that this is so much more than one company.
