I think what they did was adorable.
Don't give a rats', this is AMAZING. That is all.
Calling bullshit on their country. Come on #Germany
Germany didn't do that, the article is completely out of proportion
I love Germany. Just felt like they pulled a China-like response to this act of love. I believe girls did their best
Yeah, but the fact is "we" didn't, there is no Germany in that story, it started w/ a disgruntled athlete & died down
really quickly, b/c everybody thought the complaint was ridiculous, really noone cared. Plus everybody was/is occu-
pied with the C. Harting gold medal celebration during the national anthem. Now, that's a major issue here.
I can't read this headline. I know they're not Finnish twins and that its about twins who finish, but I can't unsee Helsinki.
This is really not true. There was a complaint by a disgruntled athlete who was not allowed to start & wanted to make an issue out
of the fact that media reported about the twins & not about another German athlete who finished faster. She's just jealous imho &
deleted her facebook comment soon after. This is really not a big thing in Germany, much less than the G. Douglass discussion e.g.
@tessbabee
isn't crossing a line kind of the point?
Kudos on the clever cutline text
2x the joy

They went across the finish line as sisters. People should start taking their heads out of their asses and get over themselves.
I hate how the media falsely portrays everything these days
