Because people in Cuba started making up silly names foir their children, thankfully I was named after my grandpa instead of Yoriel

they aren't "silly" names. People started coming up with new names to start new traditionsThey are living protests
-
Those who protest like my father got sent to prison, giving your kid a silly name doesn't effect any political change
-
they are creating new names. Should they name their kid Fidel? No this is the polar opposite of that. No traditional names
-
There's plenty of traditional Castillian names besides Fidel, thankfully the trend is dying out

because "y" and "i" are interchangeable as are "s" and "z" in many cases
-
That'd be in the case of phoneticization of foreing names, but how do you explain naming your kid "Usarmy"? It's a crime!
-
What's a "foreing name"?
-
*Foreign. A name that´s has its origin in another culture/lang. (Anglo-saxon) that it isn´t yours (Castilian in this case)
