        for another social problem. Anyway breeders must be considered a kind of animal abuse. Proved that makes dogs full of illneses.

        From an ethical breeder, yes. From a backyard breeder/mill, no. But you can also adopt purebreds from the shelter!

        yes, if you must, but use a true breeder that knows the bloodlines and registers the dogs; avoid backyard breeders. Rescue is best

        many breeds, particularly high-maintenance breeds (like shar pei, etc), have dedicated rescue shelters as an option.

        It is safer because so many shelters are lying about dog breeds and histories to get dangerous dogs adopted.
