@nytimes And what if Bernie Sanders were the nominee? Poor reporting if you don't cover that. #biased

@Got2sayso @nytimes It's not biased. It's a matter of the reality that Bernie won't win. It'd be like doing a map with Gary Johnson.

@nytimes what data did you use in this? Primary data? Much of that would be skewed based on closed primaries

@djgeoffe Most state polls also give a general election poll for that state. That with plus-poll demographics is how the conclude this map.

@ProspectLouis got that. But general election data from 2012 is already dated for predictive analysis

@djgeoffe The polls taken this year have nothing to do with 2012...? They've been polling swing states this entire campaign season.

@ProspectLouis who the NYT, Comscore, Nielsen? I'm asking who collects this. Polling at voting locations is what doomed Nate Silver's data

@djgeoffe http://realclearpolitics.com  keeps every poll archived publicly. I'd assume NYT etc do the same privately but that's just an assumption

@djgeoffe you can just search "Ohio Trump vs Clinton" for example and all those Ohio general election polls will pop up
