In Opinion Uber upended transportation, and now its Uber Eats service poses a new challenge for restaurants. “Do I feel guilty about it? No,” the company’s chief Dara Khosrowshahi told @karaswisher on the latest episode of her Sway podcast.https://nyti.ms/35G1B6O

If restaurants go down, Uber Eats is going down with them... Honestly screw Uber.

Aside from the horrible way Uber has treated it's drivers - I'd think having the ability to get food delivered from a restaurant would be a good thing. If it were still hot. And if it didn't basically cost twice as much. And IF drivers made any money off of it? and IF......

"Look, if restaurants go bankrupt, do you know how cheap the market for private chefs is going to be? Not cheap enough for, like, poor people who shop at Walmart or whatever. But cheap for me, and I'm rich. So, you know, fuck it."

I would think that a service that delivers food to people would help restaurants during a stay at home social distancing pandemic. The restaurant gets paid, Uber eats driver gets paid and the person gets food. This must be an existential no masks viewpoint.
