        That takes 10 years+, it's why they are so expensive to develop and the pharmaceutical industry doesn't bother. Before the virus it was government funded. Phase thee trials are usually a minimum of 5 years+. Without that kind of time, the first ones are going for safety first.

        They're going to approve the vaccines with a 50% or better response rate in creating antibodies without causing any serious side effects. Some vaccines may have a better % response rate, some may make more effective antibodies than others. We can't know without more testing.

        And that’s probably one of many reasons why there is decreasing interest in the vaccine. “It’s so-so, maybe it works or not” isn’t a strong sales pitch
