I do have a 4 day work week, thank you... 4 ten hour days, that is. All overtime is on Fridays. Makes for a nice paycheck.

typically if a company offers 4 day work weeks you work 10 hour days. So as far as productivity goes they get the same amount of time out of you. You just get a extra day off each week.

When they're talking about 4-day weeks, they mean four eight-hour days with the same salary. Experimentation indicates that this nets an increase in performance. This follows, to my mind; humans are not always 'working' while they're at work, no matter how beleaguered we feel.
