"When it happens once it may be a sick individual, but when it happens regularly, it is no longer about the individual, but the system." International readers react to another mass shooting in the United States.https://nyti.ms/2DxOqbB

The only way to fix the gun violence problem in our nation is to keep voting out Republicans from Congress and the White House until bills can be passed. #VoteOutGOP20

Conservatives point to the Constitution as protecting gun rights. In Ireland we've amended our Constitution 37 times most recently last month! Just change the damn thing already!

And in a week from now this will be another forgotten, brushed under the carpet story. Don't fear the immigrants. Fear your patriot neighbor.

So many shootings in any other country would have resulted in a state dept travel ban

All studies have shown the reason for the mass shootings is the astronomical amount of guns in your country. Check out the study by Adam Lankford 2015. A person is just as likely to get robbed in London as in New York, but the person in NY is more likely to die by guns

“You need to ask yourself, why is it important to own guns? Is it because of something that was written down more than 200 years ago, when it was difficult to enforce the rule of law and outlaw militias could do whatever they want?” — Ingemar Johansson, Lulea, Sweden

I totally agree, I was just being sarcastic. No matter where you are on the gun debate, it's a loser. The 2nd A isn't going anywhere, anytime soon so we have to look measures that can actually be beneficial. Mental health support/treatment, soft target security, relaxing CC laws.

US has more mass shootings than any other country in the world. See Lankford study 2015. Related to the astronomical amounts of guns in your country.
