Your headline needs some editing: Brian Kemp, the Republican nominee for governor of Georgia, has chickened out of a long-scheduled debate, so he can distort the truth alongside President Trump this weekend. There, all better now.

In case it is not clear to anyone: the Republicans are afraid to debate their Democratic opponents because they cannot defend themselves on the issues and fear exposure before a live audience of constituents. You would never see the Democrats run away like this.

It's obvious this racist never had any intention of debating Stacey Abrams. He has no legitimate defense for why he's depriving black voters their right to cast a ballot in the mid-term election. #BrianKemp #Georgia #GA #VoterSuppressionpic.twitter.com/r7UwNmxkO3

If Kemp believes it’s more important to stand next to Trump instead of telling Georgians what his plans are than give Stacey Abrams that time for a townhall.

He knows he'll lose the debate. He's going to have to cheat and suppress the vote in order to win. Georgian people should not stand for it!

Not only is this guy trying to steal the election as Secretary of State through vote suppression, now he is scared s***less by his opponent. She is formidable to say the least.
