The Hub Project, a Democratic group, has spent nearly $30 million on the midterms. But the group, which does not reveal its donors, remains a mystery, even to some of those involved.https://nyti.ms/2DeGJqO

The NYT is attempting a "both sides do it" angle to big money expenditures in elections. What they fail to point out is the policies of the candidates on whose behalf the money is spent. Are they for the general welfare? Or to benefit specific industries, like fossil fuels?

Just so the editor of @nytimes know, the group called "We the People" are still waiting on Trump to reveal his tax returns--- remains a mystery, even to some of those involved.

oh please -- left-leaning PACs pale in comparison to conservative dark money groups. But definitely run this as the lead story a week before the election.

Perhaps they are, in fact, GOP donors spending a paltry $30mm to influence DNC decision-making and create a controversy for the GOP-DEREGULATED "news" in one fell swoop.

Using the word ‘flooded’ in the headline is really distorting the picture compared to Republican dark money. $30 million is small change in the ocean of R dark money.

My favorite semi-related item is the Trump Tweet Truck, showing one of Trump's tweets about Ted Cruz, from @maddogpac . They have billboards, a big Trump rat in the back of a truck, and they sell 3' tall Trump baby balloons, called Traitor Tots. https://maddogpac.com/collections/all-billboards …

When did dark money become acceptable? We should know where every do llar poured into campaigns come from. How else will we know who owns our elected officials?
