Heroes! So grateful for all their hard work just to exercise their RIGHT to #VOTE. Beyond words criminal to have done this to them. It tells a very dark and ugly tale. GOP should and c/have stepped in to rectify the situation and right the wrong... could have, but didn't.

If people who own homes sign a lease for occupancy at their street addresses with all tribal members, and it’s legally executed, the Natives can claim a valid residence to allow them to vote. I would do it. You legally can claim anywhere as a domicile, but a signed doc is needed!

They KNOW the tribes use PO not street addresses. Not new, never have. Since time immoral, If it was not direct #voter #suppression they would have given a waiver to every Native American in North Dakota!!

Republicans are enemies of democracy. They lie insisting that there is widespread voter fraud and their solution is to prevent Americans from voting.

In order to get federal benefits, you need an ID. This should be an issue for any citizen.

The issue here isn’t ID; it’s ID with a street address in places where houses don’t have numbers.

Not having numbers? Apparently it’s not against the law on reservations.

Well the Reservation isn’t complying with Federal law, which I believe is allowed. But don’t bitch b/c you want your autonomy and the right to vote too.

They aren’t bitching. They’re following the process and getting addresses (that’s what the article is about btw), and it looks like they will be voting in huge numbers.

You’re an optimist. Democrats think that people who can’t hold a job will somehow turn out on Election Day.

I wasn’t expressing an opinion. I just said the article describes them going through a lot of effort to get out the vote.

Let them vote. That's the right thing to do. The GOP is the only party that prevents people from voting. They make it as hard as hell to vote.pic.twitter.com/QvqVCxAOW7
