Austerity is ending, Britain’s chancellor of the Exchequer said. But he also warned Brexit hard-liners that his plans could change if there was a disorderly exit from the E.U.https://nyti.ms/2D9RfiQ

"Mr. Hammond’s financial plans are generally based on the assumption that Britain negotiates the type of exit he wants from the European Union" - THAT will be the downfall of the current British government led by the Tories. They have zero negotiating power in #Brexit talks.

Austerity is far from over. With over 80% earning less now than on 1990. Zero hours contract & child povert on the increase. I don't think so. Services have been cut to the bare bones. This is far from over.

Yeah they say it here in #Ireland too while nearly 4 thousand children are homeless. And 15000 people in total, mostly families, unheard of up to this. But we are told that #austerity is over too. Right wing lying government.

It’s PR. It hasn’t ended at all - a misleading headline because you’ve taken politicians at face value and believed them to be truthful.
