The tiny editions of these books can be read with one hand. It’s a bold experiment that, if successful, could reshape the publishing landscape and perhaps even change the way people read. https://nyti.ms/2Q1PE1r pic.twitter.com/5Qk2woXEBo

What would be the advantage of buying smaller one-handed books rather than regular ones?

It’s not like regular novels are giving the people who read them on metros a major issue size-wize.

Can’t say until I’ve tried one of these tiny books, but to paraphrase Neil Gaiman, books do a good job of being books, so I’m not sure a change is either needed or wanted.

Interesting! I just read a study which said, that the digital world has made people so impatient, that they are less likely to read a thick book. The future of short stories only?

Really? That’s surprising because I read millennials are apparently the biggest users of libraries and last I heard book sales are doing well (varies year on year depending on releases, but still). Do you have a link? I’m curious.
