Here's a better solution: take all the wealth from America's most corrupt, disgusting people and use it to buy these people reasonable housing. If you took all of the money Trump and Bezos have swindled off the working class--you'd be able to build hotels for millions of them.

And who decides who is corrupt? What you're talking about is communism....

No single human being needs or deserves to have more money than entire states. I'm sorry--but there should be limits to capitalism. When someone can afford their own private military and has more money than 99 percent of the country--it's NOT because they're honest and ethical.

Who gets to decide that? You? I’ll bet if you actually had something to lose, you’d have a different mind set. It’s always those people who haven’t achieved anything that want to pull down everyone else who has.

That is a lie. The rent in Los Angeles for those backyard housews rounds on $2000 plus. No homeless can afford that!!

Putting the homeless in doghouses? How about we pay people enough to make rent. How about we don't have hundreds of thousands of units either empty or held by absentees.

Homeless doesn't mean jobless and there could be all types of arrangements. Such as you can stay but try to find a job in a certain period of time whatsoever and than start paying a little rent. Maybe previous homeless people help other or donations... there are many ways :)

True. I would assume this is the case. It wouldn't make sense in any other way to start making these places

Or maybe they are just going to rent them out at market price.

How are the homeless going to rent these? If they could afford rent they wouldn't be homeless now. Would they?
