In tight Senate races in Missouri, Florida, West Virginia and elsewhere, Democrats’ closing arguments boil down to one issue: health care. They are embracing the Affordable Care Act after running from it for years.https://nyti.ms/2D9VY4b

Democrats ran from it for years??? Like every time they voted to protect it when Republicans tried to repeal it?

This headline is bullshit. We have been fighting the Republicans tooth and nail to preserve as much of the ACA as possible. The @GOP has been undermining the program, voting to repeal and not replace SCORES OF TIMES, and we have tried to insure everyone. @NYTimes kiss my ass.

I was wondering how Florida was looking. It’s not talked about much. Is Scott up in the good polls?

I was sure Scott and DeSantis provided coattails to each other. Gillum’s socialism seems it would pull out Republican votes like an election year. All news outlets show these races to be close. I feel it’s going to be a blowout and a bunch of 2016 butt hurt people in Florida Thx.

They are not "embracing it." They are LYING about embracing it and will get rid of it if they keep power. Why are you lying to your readers?

This is one of the most disingenuous ledes I've ever seen. PRESIDENT OBAMA and THE DEMOCRATS crafted the ACA and DEMOCRATS are the ones protecting ACA. Republicans have tried to repeal ACA 70+ times and have lawsuits against pre-existing condition protections in several states.

That’s your headline? What a take. The GOP tries to destroy healthcare while the Dems do everything in their power to save it for years and this is your take. Meanwhile the GOP is pretending to defend it. You, NYT, are the problem and YOU are complicit.

Good luck with that, the ACA doubled my premiums and deductibles, its the #1 reason I voted for Trump. The only people who love the ACA are the folks getting it for free.

As usual The NY Times likes to ding democrats. Your last line should read: And Republicans are lying about embracing the the pre existing protections of the Affordable Care Act, after voting against it numerous times.

Nice try, bot. Then why does he back a lawsuit to scrap it and why did he support the Republican bill in 2017 to scrap it? Because, like you he is a liar and fake.
