Well the Puritans have dragged us back to Salem Massachusetts now, next thing they'll be burning girls who dress provocatively in school...

If the devil lives in my phone, he needs to be helping with my monthly payments. Slacker.

Demonizing technology...will that silliness ever go out of fashion? Like anything, too much can be a bad thing and moderation is the key.

Yup. And the devil was also responsible for Rock and Roll (especially Elvis), Hippies, Demon Rum, etc. Y'know, because individuals and parents aren't capable of assuming and demonstrating responsibility. Good grief.

Mobile screens... and their content... are certainly wreaking havoc on mentally ill and feeble-minded adults. Of course, I'm not talking about Trump supporters here. Or MAGA bombers. Or synagogue shooters. Nope.

There's good points in here. I've always been a "kill your TV" person, we don't have cable, advertising and reality TV feels like mind control, so I go without it. The kids, though? They have a new nightmare to deal with online (yes, they're all plugged in, hooked on YouTube)

It's a different battlefield and it's difficult to show them how easily they can be exploited by a product that has years of market research behind it intentionally influencing them. I grew up when the internet was new, and learned along the way. To the kids? It's all they know.

Kids have their games. Parents have theirs. Some we play together. Some we watch each other play. Planning together is working together. The future, no matter their job, will likely have a screen.
