This is so derp, why would they be held accountable? Shouldn't her parents be?

I was thinking along those lines as well however, the family informed the restaurant of the allergy.

Yeah, i get it..... i really do but if your children will die from nuts.... you DO NOT pass the buck of responsibility onto a person who dosent care.

I would at minimum expect the owner to inform the family that they're unable to accommodate the request.

Again, ultimately the responsibility is the parents...... sorry, this is my belief, as a parent. I get the pushing of the blame to others but its the parents fualt.

Finally! Accountability! So many restaurants are guilty of falsely advertising products as X-free so that the few fad dieters grab on to it. However, there are so many people with life threatening allergies that see X-free and choose it because it won't kill them.

@nytimees , some CAUTION is needed while captioning TWEETS. Mis-phrased tweets hurt CREDIBILITY of many BUSINESSES & COMMUNITIES. When you say 'Indian Restaurant' its implications are large in a city like New York. TakeOut is a different Business Line. https://www.facebook.com/FreeTRobinson/posts/bangladeshis-mohammed-abdul-kuddus-and-migrant-harun-rashid-38-went-on-trial-at-/483777548808046/ …
