Lets correct this guy’s response to “I’m normally level headed enough that I can keep my racism under wraps. I apologize for letting my deeply held xenophobic tendencies out in the open, exposing who I normally only am behind closed doors.”

My hand slipped, said the bank robber, I wasn't robbing the bank, he exclaimed, after being taped robbing the bank.

That was more than just losing your temper. That was deep seated anger and disgust at someone. Probably the same way he feels about himself also.

I don't get racist when I lose my temper. I vent about things I struggle with. Sometimes I say things that don't exactly represent who I am... but I speak to my struggle. My question is why race would be an outlet for the expression of his struggle.
-
This tweet already assumes that a white person is superior to a black person and that the black needs to be ‘protected’ from such people. Absolute nonsense. If a person is offended by what others say about skin color then that ‘victim’ is the problem. Zero self esteem.

That's not at all what I'm saying. I'm saying that when I get angry, I speak about what I struggle with. I don't struggle with anything in my life that would give me reason to be angry at a black person. That's all I'm saying.
-
Oh no I’m referring to the other person who replied to your tweet. I agree with you.

This can happen, rage makes people say things they would never normally say.
-
But what he was raging as was sitting next to a black person who he felt wasn't moving fast enough...so...?
-
You get ignorant people, lots of people on this planet. No way I justify his actions, moron. They were sitting and was not moving fast enough? I'm saying prior to this incident maybe he was stressed the hell out about something, vented in a terrible damn way!
-
Say hurtful things like "you ignorant people" - uncalled for. I hear what you're saying, maximizing hurt. But that was a tirade unleashed on an innocent person that was beyond a few words. And...ultimately, it was racist.
-
Nope, "ignorant actions come out in anger" I will not accept he is racist based on a moment and bad choice of words. Unless it can be proven he has a past of verbal rhetoric toward blacks or any other race. I can't call it racist.
-
Additionally, you calling me ignorant, was uncalled for too. Sorry I care about others, and expect an adult to behave in an adult fashion, irrespective of how bad his day is, to not take it out on a stranger; how ignorant.
-
Standing up for innocent people is what we need in this world. I'm 48 I've seen enough heard enough, from people of all races to know, anger gives men and women a sharp tongue. I appreciate and respect your thoughts and opinion, you as well.
