The images we have now published out of Yemen may be as unsettling as anything we have used before. But there is a reason we made this decision.https://nyti.ms/2D9xKqK

One thing that needs to be made clear. The United States not only arms the Saudis to enable them to commit genocide, they also are part of the Saudi coalition blockading Yemen to prevent food and medicines from entering the country. The US is totally complicit in genocide.

But the big thing stopping the US from abandoning Saudi Arabia is the Trump family and especially Jared Kushner.https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/nov/19/the-observer-view-on-saudi-arabia-the-us-and-yemen …

You're publishing photos of Yemeni children now because you're journalists? What were you during the previous 3 years of this genocide? Also, it's not just "Saudi Arabia's war," it also belongs to the US.

I can’t look at these pictures. They make me sick. The war in Yemen is having a profound impact on innocent civilians, especially the children. The UN should intervene. This is a humanitarian issue.

I’m not sure. Perhaps they deliberated on whether the use of dead children and horribly injured kids would be morally wrong. Just like how journalists SHOULDNT publish names of dead until the next of kin have been notified. (This isn’t a sarcastic post)

Probably ran out of things to report on, so someone probably just dug through world events in their desk. “Oh, look, here’s some stuff about some mass killings we reported several months ago.”
