The images we have now published out of Yemen may be as unsettling as anything we have used before. But there is a reason we made this decision.https://nyti.ms/2D9xKqK

Is Trump, the leader of free world, aware of this....or does the most powerful man in the world need the MSM to inform him of the human collateral damage of Saudis war?
-
He doesn't care...

Unfortunately you are a world newspaper and you never talked about Yemen every 9 minutes on the day of the child and there are 17 million waiting to die because of the siege and the bombing and the aggression Yemen immediately halted the war

-
This. Never heard of this before. Oh wait...can't even read the article because i don't pay you money. For Shame.

You get a certain amount of articles free per month. Choose wisely.

Information should be free.
#AaronSwartz -
Be realistic! Nothing is free! You travel to location at your own expense, take the pictures, write the story and then put it up for general consumption for free on a site you pay for. That would last how long?
-
The only way the news would be free is if it were state sponsored. Then it's not news. It's propaganda.
-
Right. Like NPR. State forced media propaganda.
-
"State forced" ... That's a little strong don't you think?

I'm disgusted, but NOT surprised the
#Kahshogghi case is getting so much attention While US/UK#HumanRights abuses/slow assassination of my son journalist@JulianAssange now detained 8 yrs WITHOUT charge, is ignored by complicit Western politicians/media#VirtueSignalling -
"slow assassination" good lord, ma'am. please...
-
"Slow assassination" is correct term! *Detained 8 yrs WITHOUT charge for journalism exposing high level crimes/corruption 6 years denied ANY access to fresh air, exercise, sunshine/VitD, proper medical/dental care! Sick/in chronic pain as result! Doctors say life threatening!

We do give a damn - these horrible pictures, and media coverage is what we need. Not Don the Con distractions.
-
agreed. There’s also minimal media cover about the Rohingya. Terrible human rights atrocities and massive refugee crisis.
