Nearly 11 million people have voted early for November’s election, more than in previous midterms. Here’s what that means, and what it doesn’t.https://nyti.ms/2EK1Na7

Wish there was have way to require every American to vote, maybe tax rebate at end of year. Also way to put non-partisan controlled civics back in schools. B4 you blast me, I realize this is probably improbable for a host of reasons-but high turnouts have to be more democratic.

Attomatic voter registration at the age of 18 and lets make voting days national holidays like other countries.

😪 I know and it’s so sad. For a party that says they love american values so much it scares me how people can overlook how they’re taking away the rights and choices of those who don’t have a voice.

Agree w/that. I could live better with things if Americans were better informed, engaged more with factual news, were better overall thinkers & all voted. I mean that-even if it resulted in things not as I like. Found early in life I was smarter when exposed to truly smart people

The article addresses this. “Generally speaking, mail-in votes tend to skew Republican, in part because mail-in voting is popular with older voters.”

Since the NYT is being coy - here's the bottomline. Strong early conservative voter turnout is looking BAD for Dems. The right is highly motivated this time round.

Unfortunately, all the leftist gibberish has mobilized the right. Virtually every nursing home resident in my town early voted republican.

Your exactly right. All my children and their friends are voting Republican. Even some of the younger generation that don't follow politics to a significant degree, see the absurdity of the Dems tactics & can't stand them. The Republicans have their share of young voters for sure!
